Based out of Santa Barbara California, Zuma Lounge Productions (Zuma Lounge, Corp) is a New Media and Scripted Podcast production company. Our "in house" productions include The Zuma Café Show, ZLP Presents! as well as The City Tourist. Zuma Lounge Productions also provides production support for clients, from raising money, to providing needed crew and staff, talent casting, background, voice-over, studio space and equipment.

With a vision to offer something unique, engaging, and entertaining, Oprea founded Zuma Lounge Productions, which has been a platform for various artistic expressions, including The Zuma Café Show and The Absurd Theatre Group (now called ZLP Presents!).
His journey back into the realm of acting, writing, and production began in 2018 when after visiting New York City and seeing all the production trucks in and around The Village, The Upper West Side and particularly Central Park, he decided to reignite his passion for the arts. Oprea's dedication to his craft led him to reactivate his SAG membership, step back into the acting scene, and eventually expand into voice-over work.
The establishment of Zuma Lounge Productions in 2021 was a culmination of his experiences and aspirations, aiming to bring laughter and thought-provoking content to audiences. Oprea's approach to interviews on The Zuma Café Show is particularly noteworthy, offering casual yet insightful conversations with accomplished individuals, providing inspiration and wisdom to listeners.
